Last year, I was having lunch in Puerto Vallarta, when a baby hummingbird fell out of it's nest and landed right next to me. Tiny and hurt, he nestled in the palm of my hand. The restaurant owner and I made a nest where he could relax and heal. I checked on him every day, but he was still pretty fragile by the time I had to go back home. It pained me to leave him, but the restaurant owner
