The roots of this pattern are ancient but Nikis design approach and brilliant use of colour brings the modernity allowing these designs to sit comfortably in both traditional and contemporary interiors. The pattern is intricately hand stitched using a crewel embroidery technique. The linen surface is covered in wool hand crewel embroidery which is carried onto the reverse of the
