The uprights are cross sectioned in the shape of a leaf organic, load bearing, and precise enough to make the shelf worth looking at from any angle, including the back. It works as a sideboard, a room divider, or freestanding storage, and reads cleanly from all sides. The joinery is entirely screwless. No visible hardware, no stabilizing parts underneath
