After developing as a director of the Bayreuth Festival for years, he and his brother Wolfgang became the main festival directors, introducing many changes in the way operas were presented in Bayreuth. Signed photo, 4 x 5. 75 inches, on verso it reads in pencil that it was signed in 1963, on occasion of the 150th anniversary of Richard Wagners birth. In excellent condition.
