Nicolai Canetti, who founded his New York design group in 1980 and spent the following decade collecting awards, designed the ruler as part of that original run solid steel, weighted to anchor paper while you work, with a standing center edge that functions as a handle for lifting and repositioning. Reissued for the 40th Anniversary, now in MoMA's collection. Satin matte finish with markings in both Metric and Imperial scale.
