The grapes for this complex white wine come from the winery's oldest parcel, directly below the castle, where very old, some still ungrafted, vines thrive. The up to 80 year old vines grow deep in a slate rich grey slate soil and yield only small harvests. However, the few small, loose berried grapes are characterized by exceptional
