The original is possibly worn in the 9AD at the battle in the Teutoburger forest. Parts of similar loricae were found i. a. in Velsen (The Netherlands), where in 28 AD a great battle was fought. This lorica segmentata is made of 1,3 mm thick steel and ornamented with brass. It can be closed with leather straps across the chest. The lorica segmentata can be
